German Inbox
About

One person. Named, reachable, accountable.

German Inbox is operated by Sascha Welteroth under the German Inbox brand. The person whose name is on the site is the person who reads the queue, writes the replies, and answers for the work.

The useful combination is language plus support judgment.

I was born and raised in Germany and now live in Utah. I am a native German speaker and fluent in English.

I spent four years working in international customer support and two years leading a support team. That means I have dealt with more than translated sentences. I have handled angry customers, unclear policies, unusual cases, escalations, quality problems, and the daily pressure of keeping a queue under control.

Native German makes the writing sound right. Support experience tells me when to answer, when to ask, and when not to improvise.

What I actually do.

Answer German customer emails

I work inside your existing support process and write each German reply personally. No machine translation and no AI-generated customer replies.

Follow your policies

You define your shipping, returns, refunds, warranty, and escalation rules. I apply them clearly in German rather than inventing an answer your business cannot support.

Correct weak templates

I identify German templates that sound translated, vague, inconsistent, or unnecessarily defensive and rewrite them in a natural customer-service register.

Show you the pattern

If several customers are confused by the same product page, shipping promise, return instruction, or translated phrase, I document the pattern instead of treating every ticket as an isolated problem.

The boundary matters.

I provide customer-support work and language judgment. I do not invent company policy, approve exceptions outside the authority you provide, or improvise German legal notices.

When a question reaches that boundary, I escalate it. Knowing when not to write a confident answer is part of doing the job properly.

Why Utah works.

Living in Utah creates natural overlap with German evening hours. It does not mean automatic round-the-clock coverage. Coverage windows and response expectations are agreed before the pilot starts.

The service is asynchronous and email-based. You do not need to schedule a sales call, and neither of us needs another recurring meeting just to prove we are working.

See whether the pilot fits.

Send me your store URL, your helpdesk, and a rough idea of how much German support reaches your team.
